Our 37mm launchers are NOT firearms. Do not fire any round intended for a firearm through any 37mm launcher. Specifically, do not use adapters to fire 12-gauge firearm ammunition, centerfire cartridges, or rimfire cartridges. Do not use Beehive rounds.

Ignoring these instructions can damage the launcher, cause serious injury, and potentially violate BATF regulations. Misuse also voids the warranty. That is an after-action report nobody wants to write.

INTRODUCING THE TAC-M79FG — OLD-SCHOOL GI CHARACTER MEETS THE MODERN TAC-79.

If this stock looks like it belongs in a circa-1970 equipment lineup, there is a good reason. The TAC-M79FG incorporates authentic GI-surplus fiberglass stocks dating from approximately the 1970s, giving the modern Tac-79 platform a distinctive connection to the Vietnam-era M79 design.

Original surplus stocks are increasingly difficult to find. We located a supply and gave these pieces of military history a new assignment—considerably more interesting than another decade on a warehouse shelf.

A custom receiver mount joins the fiberglass stock to the Tac-79, with minor stock modifications for proper fit. Each stock retains its original GI rubber butt pad, with original GI sling swivels supplied where available.

Expect character. These are authentic military-surplus stocks, not freshly molded reproductions. Surface marks, wear, and individual differences are part of their history. The supply sergeant might call it “serviceable personality.”

Up front, a high-impact phenolic fore-end completes the traditional profile, with a GI sling swivel fitted as supplies allow. Classic lines outside, modern Tac-79 construction underneath.
