Do not use adapters to fire 12-gauge firearm ammunition, centerfire cartridges, rimfire cartridges, or Beehive rounds through this launcher. Your launcher has a job description, and improvising with firearm ammunition is not in it.

Misuse risks serious damage, personal injury, and potential ATF violations. Review the BATF rules. Your warranty also makes an immediate exit if you ignore these restrictions—no forwarding address provided.

The Tac-D and our recreation of the classic M203 are single-action launchers with a side cocking lever and a positive trigger block safety. Chambered in 37/38mm, they combine American workmanship with rugged materials and a practical design.

Construction uses 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and 4140 hardened steel to balance durability with reasonable weight. Florida-built gear with more to offer than a good profile picture.

A Solid Fit for Your Setup

The Tac-D attaches to compatible rifles or carbines fitted with a Picatinny rail, using a 4" clamp and two bolts. The forward grip is machined as part of the barrel itself, giving the launcher a clean profile and added strength.

Aluminum components receive a Type II coating, while steel components are black oxide treated. The result is a straightforward, rugged addition to a compatible AR platform.

Mounting matters: Confirm suitability before using a KeyMod or M-LOK mounting system with the Tac-D or any underbarrel launcher. Do not assume an accessory rail is rated for launcher recoil. Every part of your mounting setup needs to be qualified for the assignment.

Compatible Ammunition

The Tac-D accepts compatible standard 37mm ammunition within the selected model’s length restrictions. Civilian options include signal flares, smoke, and other pyrotechnic rounds.

Specialized law-enforcement and military rounds have separate compatibility and legal requirements. Always confirm that the specific round is approved for your launcher and intended use. “It fits” is not the same as “it is compatible.”

Description and Features

The Tac-D family includes 6", 9", and 12" barrel configurations, with a full-length upper Picatinny rail for attachment to a compatible platform. A 4" rail beneath the muzzle end provides space for a compatible bipod or other accessories.

Depending on the model, the barrel opens by sliding forward or pivoting left or right to its positive stop. Follow the operating instructions for your specific configuration.

Ammunition length and adapter compatibility vary by model. Use only specifically approved rounds and signaling adapters. A signaling adapter is never permission to fire firearm ammunition.

Compatible aftermarket quad rails may also allow mounting on AK, SKS, and tubular-feed shotgun platforms. Confirm the fit and mounting requirements for your particular setup before purchasing.

The standard finish is tactical black. Orange barrels may be available in very limited quantities for those who prefer a little extra visibility in their equipment lineup.

The base price includes the launcher and Picatinny-to-Picatinny clamp. Photos may show accessories that are not included. Your dropdown selection determines the configuration you are purchasing.
