Built Like It Means Business

The Tac-D brings more to the assignment than military-inspired looks. An ambidextrous safety, fully enclosed cartridge head, and one-piece receiver provide a practical foundation for strength, durability, and reliability.

This single-action launcher features a side cocking lever and positive trigger block safety. Construction combines 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum with 4140 hardened steel, keeping the platform rugged without adding unnecessary bulk.

Aluminum parts are treated to MIL-A-8625, Type II, Class 2, and steel components are black oxide treated. Built in Florida by people who expect your gear to do more than pose for pictures. Lifetime Warranty included.

The Tac-D 9" delivers the classic configuration: tactical black, a clean profile, and unmistakable underbarrel styling for your compatible AR platform. No extra decoration required—it already looks like it knows where to report.

Mount It Under Your Rifle...

The Tac-D attaches to compatible rifles and carbines fitted with a Picatinny rail, using a 4" clamp and two bolts for a solid mounting arrangement.

The forward grip is machined as part of the barrel itself for a clean look and added strength. An unobstructed top lets the launcher lie flat against a full-length Picatinny rail, creating a tidy fit beneath your compatible AR platform.

Appropriate aftermarket quad rails may also allow mounting on AK variants, SKS rifles, and tubular-feed shotguns. Confirm compatibility with your particular platform and mounting hardware.

Mounting matters: Before attaching any underbarrel launcher to a KeyMod or M-LOK system, confirm that the complete mounting setup is suitable for the launcher and its recoil. Looking the part is not the same as being qualified for the assignment.

Compatible Ammunition

The Tac-D is chambered in 37/38mm and accepts compatible standard 37mm ammunition within the selected model’s length restrictions. Civilian options include:

• Signal flares

• Smoke rounds

• Training rounds

• Other civilian-use pyrotechnic rounds

Choose rounds approved for your launcher and intended use. A round fitting the chamber is not a compatibility check. Keep your ammunition selection as disciplined as the rest of your setup.

Description and Operation

The Tac-D family includes 6", 9", and 12" barrel configurations. A full-length upper Picatinny rail provides the attachment interface, while a 4" rail beneath the muzzle end accommodates compatible bipods or other accessories.

Depending on the model, the barrel opens by sliding forward or pivoting left or right to its positive stop. Follow the operating instructions for your selected configuration.

Ammunition length and adapter compatibility depend on the model. Use only specifically approved ammunition and signaling adapters. Specialized law-enforcement rounds have separate compatibility and legal requirements, and signaling adapters must never be used to fire firearm ammunition.

The standard finish is tactical black. Orange barrels may be available in very limited quantities if your preferred look leans a little more “find me” than “blend in.”
