1. SAFETY OF FLIGHT // MANDATORY BRIEFING

The Tac-D 6" Pivot is designed for compatible 37mm signaling and civilian pyrotechnic ammunition. It is NOT a firearm. Do not attempt to fire firearm ammunition through any 37mm launcher. This includes 12-gauge firearm ammunition, centerfire cartridges, rimfire cartridges, and Beehive rounds.

Consider this the mandatory readback: violating these restrictions can damage the launcher, cause serious injury, potentially violate BATF regulations, and void your warranty. “Roger, but…” is not an approved response to this part of the briefing.

2. PLATFORM CHECK-IN // COMPACT. SIMPLE. READY.

The 6" Pivot is the compact, side-loading version of our established Tac-D platform. It combines the Tac-D receiver with a purpose-built pivoting upper and 6" barrel.

No nine-line required. No stack of radios. Just a compact 37mm platform with straightforward mechanical operation and plenty of character.

3. MECHANICAL DESIGN // POSITIVE CONTROLS

The spring-assisted barrel moves forward to clear the strike plate, then pivots approximately 37 degrees for loading. A positive lock secures the barrel when closed. Follow the supplied operating instructions and confirm proper closure before use.

The pivot assembly uses a 1/4" pivot screw and two hardened 1/8" steel dowels to maintain alignment. Coordinated components, without a lengthy conference call.

Every Tac-D Pivot incorporates an ambidextrous safety, fully enclosed cartridge head, and one-piece receiver machined for durability.

4. ALTERNATE CONFIGURATION // OPTIONS AVAILABLE

Prefer the launcher independent of a host platform? The Tac-D Pivot can be converted into a standalone configuration with the appropriate accessories.

Precision-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and hardened 4140 steel, the system is designed for durability without unnecessary weight.

6. MOUNTING // CONFIRM COMPATIBILITY

The Tac-D Pivot attaches to compatible Picatinny-equipped platforms using the included 4" clamp and dual-bolt mounting system. The integral machined handguard adds rigidity with fewer separate components.

Aluminum components receive the specified MIL-A-8625 Type II, Class 2 treatment, while steel components are black oxide treated.

Confirm that your complete mounting system is suitable for the launcher and its recoil, particularly when using KeyMod or M-LOK hardware. This is one compatibility check that deserves your full attention.

Law-enforcement and military agencies may have access to approved less-lethal ammunition where legally authorized and permitted by agency policy. These rounds have separate compatibility and use requirements.
